Joe Dodge will surely be missed ! If you knew him, you knew that he was one of thee nicest guys around. I met Joe in the 80's through his big brother John, and he was making a horror movie - just like in this shot. I will always remember Joe as a friend you could talk to about anything. After my divorce in 2001, Joe and John were like brothers to me. If you frequent 'Gator Jakes', then you've seen Joe and the gang, and he will surely be missed - by all of us.

You don't meet many people who touch you the way Joe touched a lot of us. For me what I enjoyed the most was his dry sense of humor, his quiet confidence and his loyal friendship. High school wasn't an easy time. trying to fit in wasn't always easy, but with Joe he didn't care what cliche if you were good to him he would return the goodness. Some of my favorite times were making movies with Joe, Steve Mizzi and who ever else we could rangle up, that is when we had enough money to buy film, going to Walker to play Free Fall, going to see 'Dawn of the Dead' at the midnight show at Universal Theatre with his brother John and his friends or just going to Universal Mall and getting a frozen coke and just talking.
I'm so thankful to know Joe.
Take Care Joe. Until hope we meet again.
ps I bet the Big Guy upstairs is going to have one sweet feature film soon!
